The Last King of England

The Last King of England is Sacha Alessandro Marcello Berardinelli Galvagna.

Sacha is also a member of Carta (Saint Marie Records) and one half of the synth-pop duo, Crown Estate. In his pre-royalty life, Sacha played in Charles Atlas, whose music appears on the soundtrack to "Up in the Air," a small indie film about a guy named George who inspects airplanes or something.

In his adopted homeland of London, Sacha was a member of the legendary Mute roster with the group Rosa Mota. His hair was longer then -- it was the '90s.

The money earned from George Clooney bought Sacha a used MacBook, a microphone, and a small collection of traditional folk instruments from around the world. And The Last King of England was born.
